  • Lead the planning, development of market approach strategies and plans required to create satisfied customers and successfully generate demand for the group of products/solutions for the top financial institutions

  • Influence and build consensus on how to develop, evaluate, strategize, and put into operation the plans and measures needed to help ensure customer loyalty and profitable segment programs

  • Develop consolidated segment marketing strategy and messaging which addresses the client challenges such as client benefits, positioning, persona creation in line with buyer's journey

  • Develop segment positioning and messaging to differentiate Wolters Kluwer in the market

  • Communicate with regional sales team members and GMs and subject matter experts to identify and exploit opportunities in the market and to support superior execution of wider marketing programs

  • Oversee and direct development of regional marketing programs to create regional program for events & seminars, online and email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, webinars, etc.

  • Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process

  • Act as the expert on segment buyers understanding their pain points and their buying criteria

  • Collate information on the competition and help ensure this information is widely understood and easily accessed

  • Work with content manager, drive production of relevant content and marketing collateral

  • Guide GM/market management, product teams and internal SMEs to develop required content to support marketing campaigns

  • Oversee creation and maintenance of the respective internal and external collateral necessary to deliver on the relevant go-to-market plans and help ensure fit with collateral hierarchy

  • Provide product-related copy for websites and insures products/solutions are effectively represented

  • Develop key performance metrics and establish processes and reporting to show activities and results


  • A minimum of ten years of progressive marketing and/or segment marketing experience with sufficient financial background and technical insight to understand the nature of customer's business needs

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Ability to articulate highly technical solutions for customer problems to both internal and external audiences

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to travel up to 15%
