Within Wolters Kluwer, CT Corporation contains our expert information services businesses that serve large corporations, small businesses and law firms specializing in incorporation and legal business compliance solutions and clearance and protection solutions for trademark and brand professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Precedent Department to proactively monitor and influence the legislative, administrative and technological environment of government agencies

  • Provide accurate and timely content and insight to help ensure the competency and competitive advantage of CT compliance products

  • Manage relationships with state government officials to monitor and influence potential plans and legislation by monitoring state databases and other public resources to identify legislation or plans that may affect CT products

  • Drive the delivery of timely, accurate, and comprehensive compliance information to customers by encouraging government officials to view CT as a partner in providing services to the public

  • Maintain access to government agency information to allow the collection of accurate and timely data used for the support and development of CT compliance products

  • Develop and improve CT Compliance and Governance policies and procedures by initiating, promoting and leading the adoption of policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively work with government agencies and access data and services

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and lead the development of customer and market relevant content for seminar development, white papers, media and other publications

  • Lead and manage a team of direct and indirect reports

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in an operational leadership role working within the public information industry, state government or corporate compliance providers; experience as a government agency administrator preferred

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Experience with public speaking, creating executive-level content, and developing and facilitating presentations

  • Strong process improvement and change management skills; Six Sigma certification preferred

  • Experience managing a team, demonstrating employee engagement, coaching and development skills

  • Strong networking, influencer, and leadership skills preferably with government agencies or trade/professional agencies

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; proficiency with Salesforce and/or Pega preferred
