Wolters Kluwer Health is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to support Pharmacy OneSource Marketing staff. This individual will help plan, organize and execute marketing programs with a heavy emphasis on lead generation and inbound marketing optimized via digital methods and tradeshows/events. They should possess outstanding organization skills for prioritizing a deadline-driven and complex workload, exhibit strong attention to detail, and be willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities working in collaboration with the Sr. Marketing Director, Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams.
This position reports to our Madison WI office or can also report remotely in other areas of WI or in MN.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Assist with development of strategies and tactics to get the word out about our portfolio of products and drive qualified traffic to our Lead Generation and Sales teams.
Responsible for organizing and implementing all facets of inbound marketing, including: web copywriting and content management, SEO, SEM, campaigns (integrated and digital including webinar, email, print, etc.) lead generation and trade show management.
Leverage digital marketing and automation tools to execute digital campaigns ensuring coordination and timing of messages across social media and website.
Proactively provide actionable insights from analytics and CRM tools to support measurement and reporting of marketing activities and guide strategy refinement.
Provide recommendations for website / content enhancements and manages updates to the website via its content management system.
Work closely with team to coordinate the company's presence at trade shows, sponsorships and events and ensuring events are managed within budget (includes assets, booth management and logistics coordination).
Oversee pre- and post-event follow-up awareness and communications activities including email, social media and direct mail campaigns.
Coordinate with marketing and graphic designers to develop and design content for the following areas: event signs, web banners, email communication and social media campaigns as related to marketing events.
Manage production of all tools working with vendors. Maintain associated inventories.
Assist in sourcing and maintaining contact lists by customer/decision maker, role and job title to support the execution of all marketing events and marketing programs.
Research and analyze competitors to assist in the refinement company's overall positioning and messaging
Other projects as assigned by marketing leadership.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
Experience (considered a plus, but not required):
3+ years of experience in a similar role, executing digital marketing, lead generation and/or integrated marketing programs
Experience with SalesForce CRM platform
Experience with marketing automation and analytics via Hubspot or Marketo
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Experience with social media management tools such as HootSuite
Experience updating and managing website content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
Strong analytical and creative capabilities to improve and assess marketing effectiveness
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Knowledge of the inbound "sales funnel" in both the digital and traditional marketing channels
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience in project management, product marketing and digital marketing methods]Self-starter with strong attention to detail and execution
Self-motivated, independent, quick learner
Ability to perform Internet research
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
Desire to learn new concepts and work on new projects
