OVERVIEW

Wolters Kluwer Clinical Effectiveness (CE) is looking for a Physician Advisor with demonstrated strategic and executive leadership experience and passion for maximizing health system workflow efficiency and improving patient outcomes through world-class product and service offerings.

You will expand our position and awareness as the industry leader in WK’s clinical decision support (CDS) solutions within the industry and our customers while developing deep and long-term relationships with our clinical executives. You will report to the Vice President, Customer Experience,

Your m ain areas of focus for you are :

  • Clinical Executive Relationships – Develop holistic clinical executive relationships by developing deep relationships and understanding of goals, business models and drivers across an assignment of targeted health systems.

  • Value Innovation and Delivery – Enhance the outcome, value proposition and delivery of product and services through assigned health systems with targeted and innovative approaches based on customers unique challenges.

  • New Product Releases Delivery/Renewal – Collaborating across Sales and CX, promote and propagate new product release discussions across assigned health systems, gather and share insights while synthesizing customer feedback, and develop outcomes-based value proposition strategy for product releases in limited market release (LMR) and general availability (GA) stages and subsequent renewals.

  • Healthcare Market Insights – Guide and participate in industry-level executive discussions on healthcare market trends and insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain clinical executive relationships and monitor the engagement and health of these long-term strategic partnerships across health systems.

  • Understand each health system’s goals, business models, structure, and unique challenges and pain points driving outcomes, efficiency, and improving clinical workflows.

  • Guide delivery value through innovative approaches to recognize and enhance the value of our product and service offerings resulting in increased customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, shortened time-to-value realization, and lightened customer lift.

  • Identify and coach Customer Success staff on recognizing clinical opportunities and holding relevant and actionable discussions of health system objectives and clinical pain points.

  • Coach Implementation and Customer Success staff on value engagement strategies, presentations, data, and discussions with clinicians to guide more relevant, outcomes-based activities.

  • Collaborate across multiple functions to design, promote, and propagate product releases across assigned health systems in limited market release (LMR) and general availability (GA) product stages and subsequent renewals.

  • Identify clinical use cases and goals which represent customer adoption and utilization, product value and trends, and important contact relationship health.

  • Build a model and scale the successful Clinical Advisor function to expand across a broader base of customers and potentially across other segments.

  • Guide and participate in industry-level executive discussions on healthcare market trends throughout the year while implementing an ongoing cadence of in-person and virtual events.

  • Be a resource for sharing opportunities based on healthcare market insights.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Medical Doctor degree (M.D.) required.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a healthcare leader and practicing physician.

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare/HIT (Health Information Technology) with demonstrated experience in EMR implementation and services.

  • Experience cultivating relationships with CMIO, CMO, or CNO leaders.

  • Experience helping care delivery organizations with workflow optimization and application of standard-of-care programs across an enterprise.

  • Experience identifying and driving implementation strategies and plans, developing clear goals to improve growth and new ideas.

  • Share strategic-level discussions with C-Suite level executives as well as understanding the minute details of workflow and implementation practices.

  • Focus on the significance of informatics practices, particularly with product adoption and utilization, and remediation technique experience addressing perceived low customer adoption value.

  • Experience within a large multi-product portfolio which serves the needs of multiple customer personas.

  • Inspire and influence teams and individuals.

TRAVEL: At least 25% travel to customer locations
