Serve as internal consultant - enable, champion and drive new growth segments by exploring adjacent market opportunities for assigned products
Design and validate new product concepts and go to market approaches
Establish the research agenda and activities that will provide the business with a robust fact base on the market segments, environment, trends, competitive landscape, and customer-focused insights
Leverage data and insights to identify gaps in the market, drive new product ideas and provide prioritization for cross functional efforts
Partner with the relevant Product Managers to effectively champion longer-term strategic vision initiatives as well as product extensions that accelerate growth
Recommend development of business plans to justify investment and enable smooth transition for execution of the concept
Communicate and socialize new opportunities in order to obtain business support for these initiatives
A minimum of ten years of experience in consulting, strategy, product management or new business development
Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Comfortable conducting research, defining and delivering new solutions to market, working with external customers to understand their needs and develop opportunities to solve them
Experience identifying, defining, researching and sizing new markets, segments and opportunities
Highly experienced in deriving key market insights through all manner of customer research methods along with the ability to gather competitive research
Ability to travel up to 20%
