This position will direct the global digital marketing strategy for the Health Division, defining and executing a digital marketing ecosystem including web design, visitor journeys and engagement to achieve business, marketing and technology goals.

The Director of Digital Marketing will develop and execute effective communications initiatives, drive global awareness strategies, standardize technical infrastructures and practices, and accelerate Health's digital marketing efforts to achieve KPIs, optimize content marketing, and drive high value inbound and multi touch campaigns.

The Director of Digital Marketing will help people find and engage with us through channels (web pages, blogs, search engines and social), will design content (as part of an overall strategy) to address the interests and needs of customers from first touch to purchase, and will use tools to interact and engage with visitors. This will include connecting campaigns with automation systems and measurement and educating teams for best practice digital marketing. This is an exciting position for someone who can work well independently and as part of a team, and leverage expertise and prior results to lead groups towards rapid advancements in digital marketing maturity.

This is a new position in the Health division that will participate on various task forces, and work collaboratively with marketing and technical teams as well as enterprise-focused leaders in brand and communications.


  • Develop and maintain understanding of healthcare buyers, the market and opportunities

  • Hands on experience using digital platforms, marketing automation tools and technologies to build, engage and measure digital marketing

  • Flexible, proactive and creative individual who works well independently and as part of a team

  • Navigate a matrixed organization, building relationships and influence others, often remotely

  • Develop detailed digital marketing commercial roadmap strategy and be a hands-on contributor in achieving KPIs

  • Leverage C-suite multi-channel programs, analytics, social media, and digital engagement strategies for B2B and B2P

  • Negotiate and lead vendor relationships.

  • Support brand awareness, thought leadership and eCommerce.

  • Lead marketing growth and brand awareness via digital channels: SEO, SEM, PPC, display ads, paid and earned social, websites & apps, etc.


B.A. or B.S. degree, with major in communications or marketing related field


  • This role requires excellent content development and communications skills, and experience in healthcare.

  • 10+ years of progressive and broad experience in digital marketing, content marketing, social (mix a plus)

  • Proven track record of website redesign, digital campaigns, inbound marketing and thought leadership

  • Hands-on experience ideally with Marketo and CRM (Salesforce) campaign and optimization

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Multi-function agency/3rd party vendor management experience

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to derive and interpret data using Google analytics, Adobe or other

  • In-depth knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem, including Web design, UI, Web analytics, SEO, SEM

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding marketing goals and overcoming key obstacles

  • Prior success in managing and developing staff

  • Content + editing and copywriting skill

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Positive attitude, energy, enthusiasm, strong work ethic, collaborative, flexible and creative.

  • Prior experience in marketing to healthcare organizations, physicians and nurses preferred

  • Syrius decisions or similar methodology a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:: 15% domestic travel per year
