Enablon, is looking for a Technology Sales Consultant to work out of their Chicago IL location.

BASIC FUNCTION

As the Technology Sales Consultant you are responsible for providing sales support through knowledge transfer, documentation of best practices, participation in organizational readiness and team meetings, and assisting sales team members throughout the pre-sales cycle to ensure new business for Enablon

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Technical Solutions Engineer is responsible for deploying and maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise's infrastructure system that support the various departments within Enablon. Below is a list of the essential duties:

  • Serve as technical expert for Solutions

  • Partner with the Sales team throughout entire sales cycle

  • Document demonstration presentations for tracking purposes

  • Support internal IT security controls,

  • Support SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) hosting infrastructure and compliance,

  • Watch for new compliance requirements,

  • Monitors technology competition and presales process,

  • Protects confidential information during presales activities

  • Complies with all company processes and tools use to track opportunities,

  • Examines and understands backup, High Availability process and procedures

  • Assists and improve existing organizational operating procedures

  • Obtain relevant training for various cloud based technologies

  • In-depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Provide front-line technical support f technical expertise or internal sales team members and external customers with a high degree of satisfaction and technical expertise

  • Complete technical sections of customers submitted requests for proposal or requests for information

  • Assist in maintaining request for proposal question and response answer bank

  • Participate in prospects calls, sharing information on Enablon SaaS catalog, technology, including doing demonstration, both remotely and on site

  • Assist in conceptual architectural design of integrated systems including customer on-premise and cloud-based solution

  • On-going knowledge transfer, training, and support of team members

  • Drive process and product improvement

  • Acquire, maintain and expand knowledge of technology aspects of the Enablon catalog (infrastructure, security, compliance, ...)

OTHER DUTIES

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: MSc Information Technology or equivalent with a strong emphasis on Software industry.

Experience: 4-6 years of IT related experience or equivalent in Software industry. BI tools, Local and Wide Area Network (LAN, WAN) protocols, network architecture, IT architecture, Software implementation, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, hosting technologies, Web Server, SQL Server/Oracle, Windows Server.

Other Knowledge:

 Strong level of written and spoken English

 Very Strong ability to understand and develop complex technical and business situations

 Excellent presentation skills, comfort in front of large audiences

 Self-motivated

 Subject Matter Self-learner

 Team player with strong inter-personal skills

 Flexibility and eagerness to learn

 Fluency in Spanish and/or French is a plus

 Comfortable Traveling

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires 20% travel. There could be some months where you travel 1-2 days a week, and other months where you don't travel at all. You will be traveling to provide onsite technical demos. This travel is 90% of the time in the US and Canada, but occasionally internationally.
