Execute sales and account management activities to achieve goals, exceed revenue targets and drive profitable growth for products and solutions within an assigned territory
Maintain a close working relationship with each customer to continuously identify and execute on business development opportunities and maximize customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products, solutions, customers and industry
Develop strategic plans to support the achievement of sales goals
Continuously seek sales opportunities within assigned territory
Execute and finalize the sales process to meet revenue targets
Maximize revenue for products and solutions within national accounts
Represent the "voice of the customer" to internal teams
Manage time and resources effectively to accomplish sales goals
Participate in organizational activities to meet or exceed company objectives
A minimum of five years of software/technology sales and account management experience with a record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets and sales quotas; preferably within regulatory compliance, risk management or financial industry
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Experience developing and qualifying prospect lists, as well as forecasting and reporting sales activity
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client skills with the ability to interact with any level within an organization
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com or similar
Ability to travel up to 60%
