Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales and account management activities to achieve goals, exceed revenue targets and drive profitable growth for products and solutions within an assigned territory

  • Maintain a close working relationship with each customer to continuously identify and execute on business development opportunities and maximize customer satisfaction

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products, solutions, customers and industry

  • Develop strategic plans to support the achievement of sales goals

  • Continuously seek sales opportunities within assigned territory

  • Execute and finalize the sales process to meet revenue targets

  • Maximize revenue for products and solutions within national accounts

  • Represent the "voice of the customer" to internal teams

  • Manage time and resources effectively to accomplish sales goals

  • Participate in organizational activities to meet or exceed company objectives

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of software/technology sales and account management experience with a record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets and sales quotas; preferably within regulatory compliance, risk management or financial industry

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Experience developing and qualifying prospect lists, as well as forecasting and reporting sales activity

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client skills with the ability to interact with any level within an organization

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com or similar

  • Ability to travel up to 60%
