We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager, Self-Service Strategies for our Clinical Effectiveness business. This person will ideally be based out of our Waltham, MA or Chicago, IL office.

Critical to that effort is our ability to connect with customers and our vast network of users to make sure that they have easy to use tools and resources that enable and accelerate product access and use. As we push our product capabilities forward, we need to similarly accelerate our methods for reaching users in scalable, engaging, and creative ways. Our Lifecycle Marketing team is responsible for many of these capabilities and as a member of this team, the Digital Marketing Manager, Self-Service Strategies leads and manages the development of our plans to provide a comprehensive digital experience and drive product utilization.

This would include, but not be limited to: knowledge base, community, e-learning, resources, podcasts, etc. It would also unite ad hoc efforts currently underway and once the plan is approved, this person will be responsible for implementation, maintenance and promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

·Set course for Self-Service Strategy

o Inventory existing resources and product specific work that should serve as the early proof of concept assets and later be migrated to a common platform

o Scope segment digital communication and materials needs to support the stages of the customer lifecycle through the use of design, videography, photography, social influence, and story-telling

o Develop, manage and execute project plan for getting materials created, choosing best hosting platform and identifying reporting needs and analytics to understand engagement

· Be the Creator

o Develop content independently and/or in partnership with internal resources or an agency to storyboard and develop digital assets including tutorials, modules and videos to support access, onboarding and usage of the CE product suite

o Build, manage and analyze in-app messaging programs to support client health scenario

· Develop and Manage the Platforms

o Evaluate potential self-service or community platforms against comprehensive CE needs, working cross-functionally with each segment, the Customer Experience teams, marketing and others

o Build out, launch, manage and maintain the CE online hub

o Maintain existing individual product knowledgebases until rolled up

o Create recruitment and promotion strategy to encourage client use, once launched

·Other duties

o Assist in managing, evaluating and recommending new and existing Marketing Automation tools to improve customer experience, including a community site

o Potential to include community strategy and moderation


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience


  • 3 or more years of work experience is required. Specific experience across video, eLearning, online communities or other related projects is preferred

  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred

  • Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce suite (CRM, communities, knowkedgebase) and marketing automaton experience or similar is required

  • HTML experience strongly preferred. UX/UI design, Marketo, SEO and Web experience is also preferred

  • Advertising experience a plus
